AxiCom was challenged with positioning Wallapop as one of the most appealing and disruptive startups in Spain. This was achieved by building its brand and the reputation of its founders, educating media about the mobile second hand market, and by supporting the launch of new products and services.

Challenge

AxiCom developed a detailed event execution plan and worked side-by-side with Wallapop to provide continuous proof points that helped demonstrate the company’s success and growing business model. The strategy focussed on storytelling and content creation, influencer relationship management and, thought leadership initiatives to position Wallapop as a trusted source of valuable information.

Strategy

In the first five months AxiCom secured more than 30 interviews with relevant media. The campaign featured the placement of 300 dedicated articles in key media targets. The company was positioned as the disruptive actor in second half market, and referenced in entrepreneurship reports.
